July 5 , 2013: Friday
I was born at 14.34 at klinikum Harlaching Munich.
Finally , I came out through a c- section, 3 days after the due date.
Mom and dad decided for c-section in the morning and then they informed everyone quickly and got ready for the c-section.
Mom was still having painful contractions.
Mom and dad had opted for a normal delivery and mom was induced on july 3rd at 8.00 AM.
she started getting pains from afternoon and it was really very very painful by the evening. It seems they expected me to come out anytime late night..but then she was given sleeping pills after 11.30 pm after checking her.
They finalised my name on this day when they went out for a walk to reduce the pain. They were sitting on one of the benches just outside the hospital block and then they changed their earlier shortlisted name"Ayan" to "Milan". They both were very happy it seems after finalising the name !!!!
Next day she had contractions naturally without any medications. She was moved to another room from the kreizaal. akshay uncle and sujata aunty came to visit amma that day evening. they left along with acha late in the night.
Amma had a terrible night on that day, even 3 doses of pain killers couldnt help her to sleep.
on top of that her roommate was not cooperative, so she had to get up and go to toliet to cry out when the pain was so unbearable. she had to do it almost every 10-15 minutes.
Finally mom went to Kreizaal (Delivery room) and informed the midwives.They checked my heartbeat, contractions and the cervix dilation.
The cervix was not dilated to the level for me to come out.
So when dad came in the morning, amma was crying due to pain and then they decided to go for c-section as the pain was not helping in anyways for the cervix to dilate.
During C-section, dad was also there with mom and they had a good time while i was being taken out.
Mom was very cherrful thoughout the day after the c-section. unlike her first time c-section experience, she wasnt tired or sleeping after the c-section. It was like any other day.
as soon as i was taken out, they took me to another room, wiped me off and showed me to mom and then they took me and dad to another room.
Mom was still on the operation table.
She was taken out probably 30 minutes later and while being taken back to kreizaal, she saw thumbu, achachan and achanna .
Thumbu was excited and told her that i showed her toungue !!!
mom, me and dad were taekn to a delivery room inside the kreizaal and mom was asked to feed me...i was happily sucking without any issues then..my first photo was taken there by the midwife. and my name was also first time emtered in the hospital record.
Later on we were shifted to the room. I got a beautiful crib with my name tag !!!
achachan, achanna, thumbu and acha took some photos of me and amma was given instructions by the nurses.
at 9.30 pm they all left to home and i was all alone with amma.
i wasnt sleeping well and was being fed by amma very frequently. amma was having lots of paina nd in the night i was taken care by the nurses for few hours while amma could sleep and when i came back to room, i slept along with amma in the bed, not in the crib.
Acha came in the morning next day. By 11.30 or so, akshay uncle and sujata aunty came to see me !!
They came with a bouquet of sunflowers and semiya payasam.

amma enjoyed the payasam heartily after several months of strict dieting !!!
even i was checked for blood sugar as soon as i was born, but i was all helathy with a weight of 3750 gms and 53 cms tall !!!!
I started laughing the very next day, acha could catch it unexpectedly while he was taking my photos. he was very happy it seems.
On 6th afternoon, achachan, achanna, thumbu all came..Thumbu was so excited on my arrival.
In the evening, thumbu's friend Malu and her parents(Rahul and Vandana) also came.
They gifted me a toy - a hanging one. I love it.
I wasnt sleeping well on 6th also. When mom told it to nurses, they adviced her to feed me some formula milk. they were right, i was hungry and thats y i couldnt sleep well. I selpt nicely after being fed the formula milk. so she used to give me formula milk in between whlle we were in the hospital.
we left the hospital on 10th afternoon. There was a photo session on that day and i didnt sleep during that session and i had my cute white bunny which Thumbu had chosen for me !!!
acha and amma took me out in the new dress back home.
I reached home by around 2.00 PM and was happy to see my crib, assembled and decorated by acha and thumbu...
Next day on 11th, we had appointment in KVR to renew the residence permit.
We went out alongw ith achanna and i slept nciely in the car and in KVR for hours together without creating any trouble !!!
next day evening, akshay uncle and sujata aunty came to see me with a big blue balloon for me and a minnie mouse one for thumbu.
They gave gold as gift, a 100 euro gold bar from stadt sparkasse !!!
Kirti, kartik and giri had coem over the weekend, they gifted me a new dress
Janu, Rahul, Anu and Anu's dad also came and they gave me 3 dresses.
amma's friend sreeja aunty, samvruth and subin also visited us on july 17th, she gave me 2 dresses which i can wear only around 6-12 months.
She gave 4-5 books to Thumbu too.
amma got a nice flower bouquet from Upsy Daisy, they sent it to amma via Achanna and thumbu
In september, i got gifts again from our house owner - Stefan steitz
He gave me a card and a beautiful soft flower with a lullaby song music.
Upsy daisy parents and teachers also gave me a card and soft toy - a monkey with bells in the head.
Remith and Ansaooya also came hoem and gifted me a nice dress with a jacket and all..
Hmmm...i had got gifts before i was born..Janey's mom - Liz and Marley's mom - Silke had invited mom for a coffee at Liz' house and they gifted her so many things.
Jane's mom gave a beautiful blanket and i was using that in my first months.
she also gave 2-3 pairs of dresses.
Marley's mom gave me 3-4 pairs of dress, a soft toy and a buggy buch -winnie pooh !!!
Mom and dad had got few stuffs from Geetha - Kian's mom too.
I was a very good boy it seems.. wasnt fussy at all.. a calm, lovely one and i used to smile a lot while in sleep.
by around 2 months i started to smile at people and by 2.5 months i used to smile a lot and talk a lot to amma...by 2.5 months i used to sleep for long stretches at night from 4-6 hours sometimes..
i got cold and cough in sepetmeber for 4-5 days, when it was raining and cold in munich.
In my U3 checkup on aug 2nd, i was 4.2kgs and 56.5 cms tall.
I got my first vaccination on sept 13, i was crancky on that day eve..i was having pain in both my legs..but i didnt get any fever..
